The hot gas then moves into a unit inside your home, moving into a coil similar to the one outdoors. A fan blows across the hot coil, spreading the warm air surrounding the coil throughout your home. Meanwhile, the gas in the coil cools down, turning back into a liquid and passing back into the outdoor coil to start the process again.
